Breaking news: Stephen Curry has revealed his relationship with the…

When it comes to real love, Stephen and Ayesha Curry are the textbook definition of it. The power couple met as

teenagers in the 2000s, and they began as friends before taking their relationship to the next level after a chance

encounter in Los Angeles. Since then, Steph and Ayesha have been steadily expanding their vast empire as they

married, had children, received NBA honors, launched wildly successful businesses, and donated to charity. And,

sure, the Currys have even inspired successful songs (think “Be Careful” by Cardi B and “0 To 100” by Drake).

A rocky season for the Golden State Warriors, but a perfect ending awaits

If you’re curious about how far these two go back, let’s go back to the start of their wonderful relationship and create

the same type of love for ourselves. 🕯️🕯️🕯️

Steph and Ayesha first met as *literal babies* at 14 and 15.

“We were just kids,” Ayesha told People. “He was the cute boy at church that all of the girls were obsessed with, so I

made a generalization that maybe he wasn’t for me.”

“I don’t remember the exact first day I saw her,” Stephen said with a laugh. “There was no wind blowing in her face

with a backlight.”

Five years later, Ayesha relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her acting and modeling careers. She ran into Steph, who

was in town for the ESPYs and won the Breakout Athlete award, and they bonded. “I didn’t know what the ESPYs

were,” Ayesha told People. She also revealed that she had a “no athletes” rule when it comes to dating. “My parents

found this paper from my high school theater class where you had to write down what you wanted in a significant

other,” she told me. “At the bottom, it said, ‘No athletes because they’re arrogant.'”

Later in the year, the couple had their first date. Ayesha discussed their experience in a 2019 Jimmy Kimmel Live!

interview. “I picked him up in my ’98 Astro van,” she went on to say. “He wore 3XL shorts, which is a hallmark of the

times. This was our first official date.”

What is the date in question? Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. “Listen, we were 18 and 19, so if that helps clarify

anything. “And we had chai tea lattes,” Ayesha explained.
