Dear Jett, Fans, and the Entire Motocross Community,
I’m writing this letter with a full heart, reflecting on the incredible journey we’ve all been on in this sport we love so much. The track has always been a place where we push ourselves beyond limits, where each race teaches us something new about who we are, and about what we’re truly capable of. And in that spirit, I want to share some thoughts with you, my fellow riders, my fans, and especially you, Jett.
Jett, you’ve come into this sport with an energy, talent, and presence that’s undeniable. From the first time I saw you ride, I could tell you had something special. It wasn’t just the speed, the control, or the smoothness of your technique — it was your heart. You race with so much passion, and that’s something that doesn’t come around every day. Watching you take on the challenge of the 250 class and now the 450 class, I’ve seen you grow in ways that are inspiring to all of us. You’re a true example of what it means to work hard, stay humble, and never stop pushing the limits of what you can do.
I’ve been through so many highs and lows in my career. The injuries, the comebacks, the wins, and the losses. And through it all, what has stayed constant is the love and support from this incredible community. It’s a bond we all share — the riders, the mechanics, the fans, the families, and everyone who lives and breathes motocross. When I think about where I am today, and the support I’ve had along the way, I can’t help but feel immense gratitude for each of you.
Jett, your rise to the top is something I think we all admire. You’ve made a name for yourself, not just through your results, but through your genuine character and the way you handle yourself on and off the track. I’ve seen how you’ve taken the pressure of being in the spotlight in stride, how you’ve carried the expectations with grace, and how you’ve used that energy to fuel your performances. You remind me of why I fell in love with this sport all those years ago. It’s not just about winning races, it’s about pushing the sport forward, about inspiring the next generation, and about honoring the legacy of those who paved the way for us.
To the fans — you are the heartbeat of this sport. We race for you, we train for you, and your energy is what keeps us going, even on the toughest days. The support you show us, whether we’re having our best season or facing our biggest challenges, is what makes this community so special. You lift us up when we fall, and you celebrate with us when we succeed. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — the connection we have with you, the fans, is what makes motocross more than just a sport. It makes it a family.
Motocross is not just about competing for titles, but about embracing the journey — the long hours of training, the injuries, the comebacks, the uncertainty, and yes, the moments of pure joy when everything clicks. It’s about sharing those moments with teammates, rivals, and friends. I’ve had the privilege of racing against and alongside some of the best in the world, and I can say that every moment, whether good or bad, has been a lesson. The sport has taught me resilience, determination, and the importance of staying true to who I am.
We all know that the road to success isn’t linear. It’s filled with ups and downs, with moments of doubt and times when the goal seems out of reach. That’s what I love about this sport, and that’s what makes me so proud to be a part of this community.
