<\/p>\nOn Wednesday night, there was a community prayer vigil at Northfield Church in support of the search for Sebastian<\/p>\n
Wayne Drake Rogers.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Rogers, a 15-year-old autistic adolescent, has been missing since Sunday night.<\/p>\n
Friends, neighbors, and Rogers’ classmates say they are heartbroken every day that he has not been discovered.<\/p>\n
While teams searched, dozens of people gathered to pray for a safe return.<\/p>\n
People attending the vigil fought back tears as scores of community members sat, pleading for Rogers’ safety.<\/p>\n
Officials said Rogers left his Shackle Island community house on Sunday morning and has not been seen since.<\/p>\n
“What law enforcement has told us is that with a lot of people searching, since they have so many specialty people<\/p>\n
and law enforcement people that when the general public gets out there, we can cover up tracks and scents,” Haddon<\/p>\n
went on to say.<\/p>\n

To combat feelings of helplessness, Haddon assisted in organizing a prayer vigil.<\/p>\n
“We believe in the power of prayer, so we are calling on people in our community to come together and unite in what<\/p>\n
we can do,” he said. “Praying for the safety of Sebastian, the safety of the workers and pray that they find him<\/p>\n
quickly.”<\/p>\n
“People keep asking me what I can do, and I tell them the most important thing you can do right now is pray,” she<\/p>\n
added.<\/p>\n
While teams search for another day, people say they aren’t only checking cameras and combing through yards. They<\/p>\n
are emotionally and fearfully praying for answers.<\/p>\n
“We beg, we bet that you would rescue Sebastian,” one community member prayed.<\/p>\n
People stated that they will not stop praying until Rogers is located.<\/p>\n
