Pittsburgh — The Detroit Lions are retaining Tyson Alualu on their active roster throughout their postseason run,
adding the former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle immediately before the NFC Championship. Alualu, 35,
joined the team’s practice squad at the close of the regular season and played two games before the postseason. He
was upgraded for their first two playoff games and will now be on their 53-man roster as they seek to advance to
Super Bowl LVIII with a win over the San Francisco 49ers. Alualu spent six years with the Steelers, appearing in 81
games with 26 starts. He recorded 158 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, and nine passes
